The Promenade at Xabia

Xàbia

The town of Xàbia (Valenciano for Jávea) has an attractive old town with a maze of old narrow walking streets and intriguing buildings, and a lively port area. It also boats the beautiful sandy (textile) Arenal beach with a wide range of seaside stores and restaurants along the shore. The town is situated in a natural bay protected by two headlands.
There is lots to do in the surrounding area too. Gato de Gorgos is a centre for pottery and rattan furniture There are at least two naturist beaches within 10 miles. Further afield but easy day trip destinations are Alicante, Benidorm, Denia, Valencia and a host of lesser known towns and villages are well worth exploring.

Our pictures show a general view of Jávea bay, the town beach in Jávea and the naturist beach (Ambolo), the port and the old town.
