For those who may like a partly textile holiday, there are three very good quality hotels in Tenerife offering some naturist facilities.
The Puerto Palace Hotel, the more up market sister hotel of the Hotel Magec, is on the hill slope behind the main town of Puerto de la Cruz. The rooms have air conditioning (when you shut the doors and windows), full en-suite facilities, safe, TV and fridge.
Buffet breakfast and evening dinner are included in your holiday. The evening meal is first a selection of soup starters and salads from the hot and cold buffet bar. Then a main course served by your waiter. Finally a choice of desserts is available from the buffet bar.
The Hotel Puerto Palace has a "nudist zone" on the roof top. Here there is a nudist sun-bathing terrace with a nudist pool, showers and jacuzzi. Toilets and an occasional bar are just outside the nudist zone.
It also has a very attractive open-air pool complex and sun bathing area surrounded by flower filled gardens on the ground floor level - here it is necessary to wear swim trunks but not necessarily a top.
The ground floor of the Puerto Palace is a beautiful airy light reception, bar and entertainments area: there is a choice of two entertainments each night. A free courtesy bus operates between this hotel and the Hotel Magec in the town centre, and guests in one are welcome to use the facilities of the other.
