Tenerife, like Lanzarote, enjoys the warm climate of the Canary Islands. The climate is very pleasant all the year round: the average day-time temperature varies from 68º in December to 82º in August, and the average sunshine hours per day from 5 in December to 11 in July. Unfortunately, since La Jaquita closed, it now has no dedicated naturist accommodation, but there are several "naturist friendly" hotels, which have nude sunbathing facilities. The naturist friendly hotels, while not the same as staying in a naturist resorts, do offer splendid hotel facilities and might be a good choice for any naturists who like a more standard sort of package holiday, with a larger textile element to their holiday.

Hotel Puerto Palace, Puerto de la Cruz
The most popular of the hotel options with our naturist customers is the luxurious Hotel Puerto Palace, enjoying a lovely position on a hill on the outskirts of Puerto de la Cruz. The hotel has a secluded rooftop sunbathing area with a pool and a whirlpool bath reserved for naturists, as well as two textile pools and lots of sports facilities. It offers a courtesy bus service to the town centre and its sister hotel, the Hotel Magec.

In the older part of the town, 250 metre from the resort centre of Puerto de la Cruz, is the large Hotel Magec which has a roof top pool and area for nude sunbathing, as well as a sauna, and various sports facilities. This hotel offers very good value holidays, and guests are welcome to use the facilities of its sister hotel, the Puerto Palace.

In the big and bustling tourist resort of Playa de Las Americas, in the sunny south, is the Hotel Noelia Sur, a recently refurbished hotel has a nudist sun bathing area among its impressive range of facilities: 3 swimming pools, gym, sauna, solarium, disco, nightly entertainment and organised sports. It is a short walk from the shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife, and just 500 metres from the (textile) beach.

The Médano hotel is a three star textile hotel, but is idealy situated for the naturist beaches of La Tejita in the South of Tenerife.
