Quinta da Vista is a delightful naturist guesthouse, idyllically situated amidst the orange groves, makes a wonderful base for exploring South Western Portugal. The 300 year old farmhouse has been lovingly and sympathetically restored, and a beautiful swimming pool added. There are two double en-suite guest rooms, and a larger family room, all non-smoking. Breakfast is served on the verandah each day, weather permitting. Snacks or an evening barbecue can be provided on request. The honesty bar, Arkwright's, is open all hours.

Guests can laze around the pool all day, delighting in the fragrance of orange blossoms, explore the historic local town of Silves, or visit numerous sandy naturist beaches within 30 minutes drive. Your travel documents will include our guide to the nearby naturist beaches and directions for driving to them. Driving further afield one reaches more sandy south facing beaches ideal for naturism, and then Cabo de Sao Vicente, the furtherest South West point in Europe, or you can drive to the wild beaches of the West coast where the waves rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean are ideal for surfing. The area is full of reminders ot the early days of great exploratory voyages to the Americas. Also you should not miss a journey into the Monchique mountains and a visit to the just restored spa village of Caldas de Monchique.

At Quinta da Vista there are superb view to the sea at Péra and also the mountains of Monchique. The grounds still have many productive fruit trees and you can stroll through them and pick your own oranges. The main roads are very good and relatively traffic free. Bruce and Eva invite you to enjoy a naturist holiday staying in their lovely home in the Algarve. They claim there is more sunshine there each year than anywhere in Europe, and most winter days the temperature reaches 25ºC. It is open all the year round, but accommodation is limited and early reservations are recommended.
